Fireworks - 29 Jul 06

As usual, went to Yeye's house to spend the day.

And as usual, play with Yeye and Ah Mah, took my nap while waiting for Pakpak (大伯) and his girlfriend to come back for dinner.

Ah mah whipped up a delicious meal for the family, but then, I just can't eat much. Prefer to drink soup more.

Mummy has been keep an ear out for the fireworks display from the National Stadium as there's a NDP preview performance. From Yeye's flat corridor, we can see the fireworks.

After the fireworks display, I refused to go back, insisted to stay at the corridor and want to watch more. Mummy tried telling me that no more fireworks for the night, but I refuse to believe her, insisted on waiting. Until, Papa came and coaxed me back with a slice of guava. :p

My Trip to FarmMart @ CCK

Today, Papa & Mummy, together with 外婆 and ah Yee, brought me to see real animals at the FarmMart nearby, which is about 10mins drive away from our place.

We went into an aquarium, and I went 'WAH'. This amused a few adults in the shop. I do not understand what is so funny about my 'Wah' *scratch head*
I saw many colorful fishes. I saw Nemo and Dory too!!!
Mummy had wanted to get a fish for me to keep, but can't see any nice ones so we did not get any.

Next, we went to see goats!


Papa and Mummy bought $1 worth of vegetables for me to feed them. However, I'm scared of them in the beginning, refuse to feed them


Finally, after abit of coaxing from the adults, I've decided to give it a try.

After that, I kept asking for more vegetables from them for me to feed the goats. Its so fun!

We also saw rabbits, parrots, tortoise too! But too bad, Mummy never take any pictures of them. We moved on to other parts in the farm after this.

I saw a very nice water fountain


I also feed fishes in the pond. The adults called them KOI fishes. These fishes are VERY BIG, I think if they are out of the pond standing beside me, maybe about the same height as I am bah. We bought $0.50 cent worth of fish food and start feeding them. Mummy only managed to snap these pictures of fishes before she saw 'NO PHOTOGRAPHY' sign, so there's no pictures of me feeding the big fishes. Its so fun feeding them, by the way, the fish food looks like biscuits to me, I wanted to taste them, but was stopped by the adults..hmph!


After this, we went to QianHu Fish Farm too, but I think Mummy mentioned that we cannot take photographs there, so no pictures are taken.

Mummy said there's another farm in Seletar, similar to FarmMart, Papa and her will bring me there next time, but she have to find out where it is first. Oh, she also mentioned Zoo too. Wonder what is that..hmm....

Baby contest at Yew Tee CC - 15 Jul 2006

Mummy and Auntie Amy have signed both Nicia jie jie and me for this BB contest. They have been discussing what to let us wear for the last few days and still draw no conclusion.

In the end, Mummy decided to let me wear a white dress and with the help of 外婆 to tie my hair.


When we arrived at the CC, we proceed to Level 3, room 6 for registration. I'm in Group D, my no. is 33. Nicia jie jie is not here yet. 1 of the auntie there took my weight while I stand on the weighing machine, I'm weighing at 11kg. Mummy was happy as I've finally breakthrough the 11kg mark. However, she's a bit disappointed when no height is taken for me.

Got our goodie bag. There's 1 bottle of mineral water there, some brochures advertising on FMs, 2 bread (*drool*), 1 pen (my favorite!) and a toy (tink more suitable for my didi next time, I'm too old for it, it will be nicer if they give me a ball).

When its my turn for the interview, Doctor asked me to say my name, well, I only know how to respond to my name, I dunno how to say yet wor, how to tell her?
Next, she asked me to sit on a chair and flip the pages of a book. Sighs, table is a bit high for me, can't flip the book properly, so I decided to stare at the book instead.
She asked me to point out my eyes, ears and nose. Hmm, Mummy has asked me these this monring liao, can ask me something else?
Finally, Doctor gave up, gave me a ball and asked me to kick the ball, and I happily did so as its my favorite activity!!! .haha..
She tried to ask me to do a jump for her but I was too shy to do that for her, so I stayed put at where I was standing. Then Doctor asked Mummy a few questions like what do I eat, how much milk I drink everyday, whether can I climb stairs with assistance (of course I can, I wish I can show them).

After the interview, both Mummy n Papa know that I got no chance to win anything liao, so we proceed to the hall and wait for result. Funny lei, know no chance liao still wait for wat ah?
While waiting, we took picture with Mr Yeo, they say he's MP for our area. What is MP ah? So many parents bring their kids to take pictures with him lei..

When the result finally was announced, as expected, I did not win anything, so we proceed to go home to take my shower as it was really hot and I was sweating like crazy while waiting. And also time for my nap!

At night, Papa was saying, I don't understand what the Doctor was saying as Doctor was speaking to me in English while my folks usually communicate with me in Chinese. Mummy insisted that I understand what the Doctor asked me. Mummy decided to test it out again, she asked me where are my eyes in English, I pointed them to her! Papa went speechless after that. :P

My wonderful Mummy & 外婆 actually brought me to IMM and see them LIVE!

Hi-5 meet up
It was on 24th May 2006, Wed afternoon.
I think Mummy pretend to be sick so that she can bring me to see Hi-5! Wonderful isn't she? hehe...I'm very well behaved that morning, took my nap before heading down to IMM @ 3.30pm since the first show only started at 4pm.
Little did we expect the crowd to be so scary, there were many many people there. Especially some korkors/jiejies came with their daddies. With tall daddies around, they can easily sit on their daddies' shoulders and view with ease.
Me lei, sighs, my 外婆, Mummy and ah Yee, all short short one, how to fight with them? Only way is to squeeze our way thru the crowd and see lor. My ah Yee best, can bring me to a pretty good location to see them. Poor Mummy, can't hold me up for long as she's already carrying Didi in her tummy.

Barney meet up (My ULTIMATE FAVORITE now :-) )
It was on 9th June 2006, Friday afternoon.
外婆 and Ah Yee brought me to IMM to see the show put up by Barney & Friends!! YIPPEE!
The crowd is not as scary as Hi-5 this time. At least I manage to see my Barney!
After the show, I was so tired, I slept in the pram while the adults shopped in Giant.
I hugged Barney to sleep, and 外婆 bought it for me! Great isn't she?

Updates

It has been a loOOooooOoong time since Mummy post an update for me.

Well, I'm going to have a didi this Oct. Wonder how will he look like. Will he look like me?
We shall see when the time comes.

I have been very talkative lately, however, 外婆 and Mummy couldn't really make out what I'm trying to say although I've been talking real hard.. looks like I gotto work harder.

I've been calling my Mummy, 'Mee Mee', she's beaming with joy. Think she will jump with joy if I call her 'MAR MEE'.. hehe..

My 1st Birthday party

I celebrated my 1st birthday 5 days earlier than my actual birthday which falls on a Friday .
I woke up a bit earlier than usual, had my milk and played with Mummy a while before I had morning nap, gearing up for the party.

We've ordered buffet from YLSCatering, the same caterer which we've used for my full month celebration. Thumbs up for their food and service.


Above is a picture of my birthday cake. Mummy said that its a 3kg chocolate sponge cake with blueberry filling.

When we reach 外婆‘s place, saw that 舅舅 and 阿姨 have already decorated the dining room with the banners which Daddy and Mummy have bought earlier.

I manage to 'dong' till end of the party, that is 5pm and beyond!
By the time I had my dinner and bath, I can't stand it any longer, getting cranky by the minute. Fell asleep on Mummy's bed within minutes.

Day of my arrival

8 Nov 2004 - Mon
Mummy went to Dr A for her weekly review, he said that my aminotic water level is getting low, now at 6cm... so he explained to Daddy and Mummy that if my water level dropped below 4cm, I will have to be induced out immediately. He told us not to be worry, and asked us to go back again on Wed

10 Nov 2004
Saw Dr A again to check my water level. Its dropping further, but then not dangerously low yet. He suggested to my folks to have me delivered on Friday as tomorrow is a public holiday.

But then I decided to make my own decision instead... hee.

11 Nov 2004
3am
I send signals to Mummy's body to inform her I'm coming out soon! Guess the signal I've sent out was too strong...the pain at her back woke her up and followed by a persistence backache which make her can't go back to sleep... ooops...

5am
Sending out more signals, give Mummy a 'bloody' show... This make Mummy even more confirmed that I'm coming to see her soon.

530am
Wake Daddy up and told him its time. Called Dr A and asked for advise, told Mummy that if she don't feel any pain, go and see him in his clinic tomorrow as its PH (Deepavali) today, but then I already sent 'pain' signal to her liao, so he said to meet at hospital ard 9am. I know Dr A will be helping YX jie jie to come out this morning, so I kuai kuai waited, stopped sending signals to Mummy for a while. Let her rest a bit so that she got energy to welcome me to the world .. hehe...

830am
Mummy went pom pom and have her favourite Wan Ton Noodle from downstairs because of me, she cannot eat that for 1 whole mth, dunnoo why.. nottie me, still give her backaches while she was eating .. hehe...

915am
Made our way to TMC. Dr. A called and asked if we have reached there yet.. hee...

945am
Reached TMC and Mummy was asked to go to the observation ward while Daddy go and settle paperwork. Dr. A came in and checked, said that Mummy is about 1.5cm dilated. Can either bring me out go jalan jalan (me in the tummy of coz) and come back again tonight or wanna bring me out of the tummy now...
My folks decided to bring me out instead of waiting till night... since we are already there, might as well carry on ... hahah..

10am
Dr. A broke my water bag, oops, I'm no longer have water around me, better make my way out soon! Nurse make Mummy go LS, changed into gown and into delivery ward and wait for my arrival. Dr. A said will give Mummy some medicine to make the constraction stronger, geez... really trying to squeeze me out..

1015am-12pm
My Mummy 'hao liao' somemore, when Nurse asked her want epidural, she dun want .. but then I can't control the sending of signals liao and its hitting her like mad. She use laughing gas to 'dong'.. still cannot..grabbed Daddy's arm whenever contraction hits her. Dr A came by and check, 4cm dilated at 12pm. Ask her again if she want epidural, this time, she nodded her head vigourously..

130pm
Epidural was given to her, finally Mummy can rest a bit. Daddy had went for lunch during the administration of epidural. However, Mummy still can feel abit of pain on her left side, told Nurse, she adjusted Mummy's position on bed, ah... no pain liao ... they all happy .. but I'm still cramping inside with that uterus squeezing onto me. Daddy came back from lunch.. they still got the mood to chat... OMG!

230pm
I'm coming!! .. I gave her a feeling of want to PS, she felt funny as she's on epidural, by right shouldn't have felt it, told Nurse again. Nurse check, wah .. immediately informed my folks I'm ready to come out!!! .. yippiee!!.. finally!! Nurse ask Mummy to try start pushing and can see my head.. but then I don't have a lot of hair, well, at least I'm not botak .. keke

245pm
Dr. A came and start asking Mummy to push more... can hear scissors snipping .. yucks!!
My heartbeat is dropping a little, and Dr. A asked her to push harder otherwise he will need to help me to come out liao..

310pm
I'm finally and officially ouT without Dr.A to 'kiap' or vacuum me.. phew!!! Greet everyone in the room with my loud cries... hehe.. its a formality, I heard.

Mummy and me bonded for a while before I was brought out with Daddy and Nurse to weigh and measure my height. I'm weighing 2.895kg and lying 47cm long. My head circumference is 32cm.

Did not get the see my folks again until 8pm that night. Well, I din really see them, I'm busy sleeping... hee...
